LAM and You!
I want to thank the many readers who have continued praying for this ministry. I know some of you personally, yet others I have not have had the privilege to meet, yet. I thank God for Him putting you in my life.
From your prayers and support, God has used the resources to open up more avenues for this ministry to reach more people. Many have come to salvation through this ministry, and that is always an added blessing, though the focus of this ministry is to restore believers to relationship with God. As with any ministry, there is a price to pay in helping people. It costs time, resources, and material to put the seminars on. Right now my husband and I have been contributing into this ministry personally, but would like to extend that invitation to you as well. Many have given graciously into this ministry; however, this is where the need is. If you have been blessed, or simply have a desire to give to a ministry that actually changes lives, then consider Life Application Ministries. You can become a monthly giver, or give a one-time donation; both are tax deductible. Please contact this office at (530) 620-2712 to sign up to help with this ministry. Many people don't know how to minister, but helping out this ministry, you become part of helping people too.
We don't have any gadgets to give out or promises of prayers being answered when you give into this ministry, but I can promise you one thing, lives are being transformed. Hearts are being healed. People are finding their place on this earth. Their relationships with their Heavenly Father is being reconciled. People are getting their "peace." People are being healed. Here are a few recent testimonials, from both men and women.
From a caller:
"I didn't realize that I had so much unforgiveness and hurt toward a family member, but was totally healed and set free from fear and unforgiveness at the meeting I attended in August. My life is different. My thoughts are different. I didn't even know I had a problem in the area I was set free in. The truth does set you free."
Letter Excerpts:
"Now once again I have to say thank you Linda Lange for sharing with me a few years ago, just how to keep my peace (and quiet) in the middle of so many trials. It works!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You know I'm eternally grateful, and love you dearly, You're the coolest!"
"Thank you for the information you have on the internet. I read "A More Excellent Way" and did not know where to go from there or how to even begin to apply all the principles taught. Then God led me to you! Your material gave AMEW information more structure. I like the learning of one concept, applying it in forgiveness, work, and prayer, then learning the next concept."
Email excerpts:
"OK, OK, so you do know what you are talking about."
"As I read your email to me, all of a sudden all of the negative and hurtful words such as "you will never amount to anything, you stink, you are this or that" began to flood my mind of what my earthly father said to me growing up. All of what you shared with me is SO true, and is the root of my problem. All of the unanswered prayer and disappointments in my life (after reading your email to me) all I can say is Thank you Father for not giving me what I desired until I understood your Love for me; it would have destroyed me if I would have obtained my way. We all talk about God's love, but as you pointed out there are so many ugly roots that hold us down we cannot really see or understand His love. In the past I heard but did not understand - God's love, I read but did not understand God's love for me. I want to thank you very much for taking ht time to respond to me."
This is a ministry that the Lord is using to help people, all people gain a healthy understanding and relationship with Him and His love. It all starts there, one person at a time. Please join in this effort by supporting us through prayers and contributions. If you want to help, please contact us at (530) 620-2712 or at LAM, P.O. Box 165, Mt. Aukum, CA 95656. Most of all, continue to pray for this ministry that lives will continue to change - one person at a time.
Do You Feel Like Running Away From Home?
Of course, we wouldn't really do this, but just recently I felt this very thing! (Well I guess some really do run away from home, but when we realize what I'm about to share with you, there will be less divorces!) I was feeling "stuck" in my life, feeling like there was something pressing down on me hard, something I was missing out on, yet I didn't know what it was. I thought I needed a new life by making some changes in it. I knew this thinking was not right, but didn't understand why it was consuming me. Remember, I am still growing and learning and changing with the rest of you. Just because I get to share things in teaching doesn't mean I'm immune to the same trials and tribulations as everyone else - as a matter of fact - more so because of the call on my life. But I did want to know what was going on.
So after three days of toiling in my head how to make changes in my life such as quit work, sell the house, replace all the furniture, run away from home, etc., none of these things sat well with me. THEN I talked with God. (The enemy is very cunning, he creeps up on you unawares and before you know it you are in deep "&$#@." And sometimes it happened so slowly you don't know how it even happened.) Since I do practice what I preach, I decided to ask God a specific question.
Father, what am I afraid of? I knew that fear is the thing that causes us to want to run and hide, so I needed to know if this was in fact true. And sure enough, it was. This is what God showed me. When I began "feeling" burdened down and stuck, even lost hope, it's when I began fearing my future. I was afraid I was not going to be able to retire from the State in two years (which I'm planning to do yet it's not for certain) and dedicate full-time to ministry. It saddened me so, and I didn't even know it. Once I recognized this fear, received forgiveness for this fear, told the spirit of fear to leave, I was completely and immediately restored inside. And it was that quick! I understand now what it means when the Bible says that the spirit "quickens" us. God is not slow to meeting our needs, it's us that is slow in getting ready to receive what He wants to give, and then His part is quick.
After receiving this touch from God, I talked with my husband and told him what I had been feeling, and what I was feeling now. I did want to make some changes, but they had nothing to do with my surroundings, it was what I had going on in me that needed changing. And now everything looks brighter again! Even the thought of "not" retiring in 2 years didn't even cause me any grief, because when I was restored in my heart, I was also restored in God's love. And His love tells me that He will work things out in my life for the best, and in that I trust. I even began enjoying my house more. Some of you have been to my home and it's like a retreat place - why would I even want to leave it? Because the fear that I had inside me wanted me to run.
So, I ask you again. Do you feel like running away from home. Take a minute and ask God what you are in fear about, and let him mend you as he did me.
Great Insights Availalbe on the web:
The website is filled with valuable information andprinciples for your every day life. Since not everyone can attend seminars, we offer the teaching materials at http://www.lifeapplicationministries.org. By going to that site and clicking on "6 Basic Principles" you will find vital things that will help you in your walk with the Lord. These principles are based on the teachings by Pastor Henry Write with Pleasant Valley Church, and along with my own personal discoveries/testimonials/insights. Along with the "6 Basic Principles" we also provide 22 more sessions on "walking out what you have learned" series. Be sure to visit that sight and share it with anyone you know would benefit. And go out and enjoy your life!
Disease Anonymous
So many people have a desire to be well. Many are alone and lost in this journey, not really knowing what to do or where to start. We are starting a local chapter in the area of Sacramento foothill area. D.A. follow the same type of guidelines as the traditional 12-step programs, but modified it to reflect those with diseases.
The principles used in DA are those from which I share already through these newsletters and website. If you want the personal attention and way to express and find support, then this would be a great place to start. Many want to become well so they can help others, and this is a way you can do both. If you are interested in attending, please contact this office at (530) 620-2712.
