John 14:17: Even the Spirit of truth; whom |
Spirits Revealed
This topic of "spirits" is of great controversy. Some believe a Christian cannot have any spirit in them but the Holy Spirit. This was my belief for many years until I saw what I'm be showing you in this teaching. You decide for yourself though, because what I'll be sharing with you is what was revealed to me by the Holy Spirit Himself. Some believe that there are no evil spirits. Some believe that they can be oppressed but not possessed. So let me add another mix into this and you decide. Some believe a Christian can have an evil spirit in them, not as in possession but as in torment. This is what I believe. Because to be oppressed means that force is coming from an outside source. I believe the attacks can also come from an inside source. Paul writes that it's not him that does things he doesn't want to do but the sin in him that does it. So I realized that sin just isn't a thing, it's a being that can cause me to make choices.
Let's put it to the test. Do you believe that fear is a spirit? If you do, then you believe what the Word says. "For God has not give us the spirit of fear..." We see that fear is a spirit here and we cannot deny that is true. Do you experience fear? Is fear something you "feel" inside of your heart and mind? Then it's not sitting on your shoulder, it's within. Even scriptures asks, "Where does it come from? For from within..." (Mark 7:21-23).
So what is really in there? Is it a biological defect or is it something real? You decide. But don't fall into fear. Remember, a matured believer discerns both good and evil so that we have the knowledge and understanding to defeat our foe.
A good source of truth is to see what is at work in your own heart and compare it to what is in scriptures. After running a reference on the word "spirit" I developed the list below. If you see any manifesting in your life, check them off - on both sides. If you checked off any "Evil Spirits" manifestations, then you decide what you are full of? It's not a time to run and hide, because as you recognize these things you are exposing them and causing them to lose their power. The next step is to tell them to leave and then "receive" God's love as a replacement. You don't want to leave your heart open and void, but ever-filled with the Holy Spirit. In so doing, there is no room for these "creatures" to return.

Prayer for you:
"Father I pray that every evil spirit exposed in this Saint's life GO in Jesus name! I ask for your unconditional love to flood them in these areas that were riddled with torment and heal them Lord. In Jesus name, Amen."
To return Back.
